Carrera 3 Hill climb racer Hugh Feggans calls in from the podium of the Australian Hillclimb Championships. We fly out to meet him in his home town of Tamworth post event to jump in the death seat for the trip back to Sydney to talk all things driving.

The United Kingdom is our next stop, this time pushing through the fields of Northern Ireland, lined with drystone walls in two of Porsche’s four wheel drive 911s. Then head to England to drop in on Frank Cassidy at Boxengasse, he greets us at the airport in his 993 911 GT2 build, god speed.

Up at dawn to focus bleary eyed at an everyday hero, the 996 911 Carrera and hear Tarkan Erdogan’s story of this most underestimated Porsche, before heading to the track in Darien Herreen’s new magenta mauler, built for total adaptability and Porsche Club Championship domination.
